All those 90s Westcoast 4-track tapes probably sampled cassettes. Just like Dibia$e recently tweeted, many guys made beat tapes back into mid 90s, such as Elusive, CVE, Omid from the Good Life Cafe/Project Blowed camp, others were like Orko Elohiem... Not so many cassettes were actually published but most of them are truly amazing.
