Not on Streaming/YouTube Only Joints Volume One
146 selections from the wild and wonderful world of YouTube music curators.
If you want to support Micro-Chop you can follow me on Spotify and subscribe to the newsletter and YouTube channel. You can also buy me a coffee.
I love listening to rare and obscure music on YouTube. You can find an endless selection of long out-of-print CDs, cassettes, and vinyl thanks to the many dedicated fans and curators who use the platform to share their collections. Not to mention demos, video game scores, and many other mind-bending musical discoveries.
For me, drinking coffee and listening to music on YouTube is therapeutic. I subscribe to so many channels whose sole focus is music and I never get tired of digging through their archives.
If you’re sick and tired of your normal rotation of albums, songs, and playlists, following a bunch of YouTube channels and exploring what they offer is the perfect remedy.
I’m always looking for new ways to put people onto the YouTube goldmine so I started a playlist series titled Not on Streaming/YouTube Only Joints. Volume One has 146 songs to sift through: covers, funk, gospel, instrumental hip-hop, horror movie scores, jazz, rap, R&B, rock, soul, video game scores, and more.
The whole point of these playlists I send out is to get more people excited about music they might not hear otherwise. I have a simple request - if you’re especially into a song from this playlist, or the whole playlist itself, share it with a friend. Friend recommendations go a long way.
Whatever time you take to listen to and share this music with someone else is beyond appreciated. Here’s the link again, just in case.

Oh yeah. Here’s Volume Two which is still a work in progress.
That’s it. Until next time.
Wow...the Waterworld video game soundtrack. Back in 2015 I produced an album nobody listened to and sampled it for the ending of the final track.
