Some compelling releases from Munich-based experimental label.

I’m tired of overthinking the logistics of how often I send out new articles by email. I want to write more. The plan moving forward is to write more.
Some of my writing will go out as newsletters but some won’t. I’m going to mix it up and experiment.
I have a certain level of expectation for Micro-Chop articles but that has become limiting in a way. It isn’t often that I have the time to write something long these days. I want to share short, music-focused pieces to get more music in front of people with greater frequency.
Sharing music through social media is fun but I want to create a better system for archiving my work. I also want to build my writing habits back up to where they used to be.
For today’s article, I’m expanding on something I wrote over at my other newsletter Less Than 1,000 Spins. I wrote about the boundary-pushing library music label Coloursound Library and their 1985 release Suspense & Danger - a joint creation of intense, ominous, and sometimes scary songs from Robert Sharples, Andre Tschaskovski, and Albert Jacob.
The label has an expansive catalog that’s more than worth your time. Not all the Coloursound releases are my cup of tea, but I’ve greatly enjoyed several of them. I wanted to share a few here for people who want to dig deep into their archives. I hope you enjoy my selections. Let me know what you think in the comments.
